Yes. Based in Grand Rapids, I regularly travel across West Michigan and beyond. If the wall, window, or brand needs a human-made touch, I pack the paint and go.
Yes, I translate existing visual identities into hand crafted storefront signs and custom murals. If you already have vector files or a brand guide, I can adapt them cleanly onto your physical space. If you need it built from scratch, I handle that too.
Timelines depend on the service and scale, all subject to current scheduling:
Murals: Typically 6 weeks from our initial meeting to completed artwork. The actual painting averages about 1 day per 100 square feet.
Brand Identity: Roughly 8 weeks from our first conversation to delivering your final, usable elements.
Signs: Variable based on the size and detail of your project. Small studio painted pieces take about 1 week. On location storefront signs are painted in 1-2 days, taking 1 to 2 weeks total from concept to final installation.
Bundled Services: If we are combining services, timelines don't stack linearly. Elements flow together naturally, saving time overall.
Investing in custom, human-made craft means you are paying for permanence and impact, not mass-produced templates. Because every space and brand is unique, investment varies:

Brand Identity packages: Complete visual identity systems are complex and require an understanding of your unique story and goals for a real quote. Most start around $4,000 and include an in depth analysis of your business and where it needs to be visually for success. (If you just need a standalone logo, no complex visual identity, book a call with me so we can talk it through and get a price within your budget).

Large-Scale Murals: Most mural projects are charged by square footage and start at a base of $2,500. Factors for pricing include wall texture and complexity of the design. Send us a message to get an accurate cost.
For clients commissioning multiple pillars together, initial discovery and overlapping setup fees are streamlined. If you are looking for fast, cheap, and disposable, we aren't a fit. If you want high-impact work built to last, let's talk.

Everything is designed, painted, and executed by me, Dave Battjes. For large sign or mural installations, I occasionally bring on trusted, qualified crew members to assist, but every single brushstroke is personally overseen by me from start to finish. I may hire other designers or illustrators to assist with the scope of a large brand package but I conduct all creative direction to ensure we follow our "North Star".
You handle any necessary local permits or landlord approvals for your space, though I am happy to provide any technical specs or layout details you need to pull them. For equipment like scaffolding or lifts, I handle the sourcing and rental logistics so you don't have to touch it.
